Description

With a well volume of 360μL the plate body is made of white polystyrene with a K-Resin™ insert. The standard membrane consists of a low protein binding, hydrophilic 0.2μm PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride). Another feature is the individual filter discs. These are encapsulated by a special over-moulding process that ensures the integrity of each well and eliminates liquid cross contamination, while the optimised nozzle design prevents cross-contamination of the filtrate. The plate has the standard industry (SBS) footprint, so is compatible with most automation, liquid handling and detection equipment. Main applications include: PCR* clean-up; dye-terminator clean-up and separation/filtration assays.
