Description

The unique multi-talent SCAT™ Universal Waste Hub 'Jan' for liquid waste disposal is a new development from SCAT™ Europe, a leading premium manufacturer for lab safety. No other product on the laboratory market for disposal solutions combines more innovative options for individual adaptation to changing disposal requirements around HPLC systems. A high number of clever details guarantees maximum safety compared to conventional solutions.

The material of the hopper is made of high quality HE-HD and is designed for long lasting use and resistant to all common chemicals used in labs. The hinge on the funnel lid is made of stainless steel and has optimal protection against corrosion. The satellite itself is made of PTFE material and ensures high stability of the entire housing. The additional dirt-sieve catches magnetic stirrers, as well as larger dirt particles. Laboratory bottles may easily be placed upon it, for rinsing purposes. The sieve can be removed for cleaning. The mesh size has been optimized and ensures for a swift throughflow of solvent. The tab with grip on the funnel lid ensures easy and convenient handling. The click closure with integrated sealing ring, prevent air pollution by uncontrolled escaping vapors. To avoid overpressure in the disposal container, the SCAT™ Universal Waste Hub 'Jan' has a connection for an original SCAT™ exhaust air filter, which is already included in the delivery. For explosive environments, two electrically conductive versions of the SCAT™ Universal Waste Hub are available that prevent sparking by using a ground cable.

All connections on the satellite are precisely processed and arranged in a very easy-to-use manner. The satellite can be securely screwed onto the disposal container and at the same time remains variably rotatable. The satellite remains flexibly usable and prevents the connected hoses from twisting. With an availability of 10 different thread sizes, all types of waste containers can be connected. Even very rare thread sizes can be connected by using optionally available adapters. The design of the Waste Hub is modern and equally appealing. The shapes of the housing and the components are ergonomically designed and have a high usability. The huge range of accessories covers all eventualities and guarantees always the right configuration of the hub.
